It all has to start somewhere. The beginning point can be viewed as auspiciously or mundanely as one would like but the ultimate denominator is gauged by its middle and end. Starting out in a blaze of glory doesn’t matter much if your subsequent efforts are irregular, uninspired and ill-informed.
On the flip side, one day is not a year. Sometimes you start a bit slow and build up momentum and maybe even continue accelerating. That’s time-based and your “glory” might show down the line or when viewed along the grand timeline. That implies consistency and imagination to stave the doubts and possible lack of extrinsic return.
The prime element to any success or failure is its start. And failure is automatically defined in never starting. So, we begin and we begin again always with our eyes seeking light.
